How Mio works

Skills in the open SKILL.md format are loaded and can be picked like any other skill. Add your own on the Skills page.
Create your own expert: name it, describe when to use it and what it must do. It appears in your Skills list and can be exported as SKILL.md.
When a chat has no skill chosen, Mio picks the closest one for the question — and says which — instead of answering as a generalist.
Squeezes the conversation before it goes to the model, so long chats stay cheap and do not hit the limit. The chat shows how much was saved.
Looks at how you use Mio and suggests what to turn on next — plugins, connectors, routines or a skill.
Files you upload stay searchable in later chats: Mio finds the right paragraph by meaning and quotes it.
